please help me this cane is carved from a n animal hind leg bone has a hoof on bottom has a snake carved around it and a picture of virgin mary this is shiny glittery to

The Virgin of Guadeloupe is the parton (patroness in this case) saint of travellers. The virgin Mary is commonly pictured stepping on a snake. Maybe the walking stick was used in an area that had lots of vipers that needed stomping.

this walking stick is like this       a bone from a hind leg of maybe a hoarse the hoof is at the bottom      a snake is alll around it from the bottom to the top   there is a small picture of the virgin mary this is handcrafted carved and very shiney sparlky to. it was made in mexico for sure i really just wanna know if there is a meanign to this
