Can anyone recommend a good pin type moisture meter that's reasonably priced? I store (hang) my sticks in my basement wood shop that is heated and air conditioned to between 68 and 72 degrees year round and is very dry, probably 40% humidity or lower. I have a feeling my sticks will be ready before the 1 year per inch rule of thumb but I want to be sure.

Hi Ken,
I have a two pin i really like that works well. It is made by mastercraft a brand that is exclusive to a store chain here in Canada. I would hazard a guess that it is a rebranded unit and available under another brand. My advice would be to buy not the cheapest and prob not the most pricey either. I bought a very cheap one originally and was not happy with its accuracy.
Here is a shot of mine. Good luck with your search.

OK, so I picked this one up today. Had great reviews and only $33.  https://www.lowes.co...e-Meter/3136919

Don’t think you can go wrong with that one. I rely on review as well with a lot of purchases.
